This year’s congress theme was Market Approach, and it offered an elaborate programme on medical-technological product development. In addition, various workshops were held on successful innovation in medical technology. In cooperation with Syntens, Unitron organised a workshop in which practical factors for success in medical innovations were clarified, including the importance of medical publications, subsidy schemes, market approach, and cooperation structures. Together with CD Leycom, Unitron delivered a lecture titled: Innovation in Cardiology: the Product and the Process. During this presentation, mr. Oostenbrink from CD Leycom and mr. Van Liere from Unitron explained the realisation and operation of the intra-cardial function monitor, in short Inca monitor.
